As poor 16 yea old Shinjini becomes stable, the eye of media turns towards the "reality shows"!
Reality shows these days is becoming rage among us Indians .Hell who doesn't like to watch some random poor people (kids, even better) brutally thrashed and criticized in front of Millions of audiences! Some even brought to tears ... ahh the Bliss! Anyway most of the contestants are thick-skin enough to take the beating, but that girl came out worst!
Now her father is holding the show responsible for her condition.

“The judges are blaming us for our daughter’s condition. How can they do this? The reality show had a terrible effect on my daughter. All such shows should be banned,”

YES! What a wonderful way to avoid the responsibility. As if that asshole didn't know that her daughter would be shamelessly criticized for even a minor mistake in front of the audience!

Anyway, according to neurologist Abhijit Chatterjee her situation has nothing to do with depressions!

so i am back posting on my blog, and yeah, as i have said numerous times before, i will try to be more regular from now on.
Though being regular wont b much of a problem now as my final semester got over last week and i have nothing to do the whole day :D. and boy oh boy, i just love lying around doing nothing , just like Garfield :P !!!
Exams were ok, though Algorithm paper didn't go as i planned :P . hopefullly i will pass !!

1st of all check out the backgroud image ...and the new design, cool isn't it ?? ;)

Ok so Long time no see from me :P .... back again Posting . Life has changed a lot since my last proper post . I have started learning guitar, have become 23 times more lazy and lost one of my tooth (which is replaced by a fake one by the dentist ;0).
have been playing /practicing my guitar for about 2 months now .. have learned most open position chords ..some scales .for last few days have been playing almost continuously which resulted in a lot of pain in my middle finger and index finger (sigh!).anyway i can play some of my favorite songs like Wish you were here, leaving on a Jet plane, Knocking on heaven's door etc ...From yesterday , trying to perfect Pink Floyd's Is there anybody out there lead... anyway a bit more practice and it will be perfect :D.
Also completed a game called "Indigo Prophecy" .. brilliant game , probably closest to a movie experience any game have ever gone !! also its the 1st game i have "finished' FEAR :p ... coz most games were either boring or tough or didn't run on my prehistoric PC (again sigh!).
Also installed GTA-SA (yeah again) and guess what , i have completed the flying school (clapping !) . Now My 1st aim is to complete the game.
Also listening to a lot of DOOM MEtal nowadays but i will post about that later.
Oh , Harry Potter's Latest and Last book got released .. people have got hysteric over this book ..finlly it will end .Oh , as I was talking about books, currrently reading "Hitch Hicker's Guide to the Galaxy" by Doglas Adams , and man oh man, what a great read ..simply awesome.Never before I have seen such a great combo of humor and Sci-fi.Gotta complete this book ASAP.
now thats about it ..too lazy to type anymore ... at last ..from a galaxy far far away a voice echoes .. "Chiro: i will be back with more such boaring post ..muaha" ... ;)

Cognizant Came to my college(Institute of engineering and Management,kolkata) 10 april for ON campuss . total 112 students appeard for the apti - 104 cleared .apti was according to the format but the english was lengthy ,the sentence arrangement took too much time to solve and almost no students(including me) could even touch RC , I answered all "C".Verbal and Non-verbal was very easy .Only problem is the time constraints, so a little bit of practicing before exams help.
After that it was HR+Tech ..

Me - Good afternoon sir,
Hr - good afternoon, please sit.
Me - Thank you, sir.
Hr - so Chiranjib, tell me why do you want to join cognizant?
Me – high growth rate, work environment … bla bla bla ..
Hr – so your hobbey is listening to music, what kind of music do you listen to ?
(I gave Music, Movies, Football, Computer Games, blogging and image editing/wallpaper designing as my hobby.)
Me – mostly Rock and Metal. I am a big Pink Floyd fan.
Hr – what other bands you listen to other than pink Floyd ??
Me – sir,I also like bob Dylan and The Beatles .Nowadays I am also into death metal, I love Obituary etc .

Me – (after a few second of pause as if I am trying to find which is my favorite pink Floyd song among hundreds of songs by them :P )Comfortably Numb.

Me – mainly European movies , I don’t like masala bolywood movies. movies like city of God , y tu mama tambien etc …

Me – yes sir, I play for my class football team in college, though due to projects and lab woks don’t get time to practice too often .
Hr – favorite team, favorite footballer ?
Me – Arsenal, henry and fabregas.
(I gave over-enthusiasm as my –ve point)
Hr – why do you think over enthusiasm is a –ve aspect for you??
Me – said from a personal experience, how I once suffered for too much enthusiasm.

Me – no sir … and show some reasons why it wont be any problem.

Me –(sadly I forgot to prepare for any question to ask :P ) after a bit stammering ( acted as if I have too many question to ask :P ) what re we taught during that 2 months of training.

So this is it.The interview barely lasted for 10 mintues. not a single tech question was asked to me . but some of my friend were interviewed for 30-40 mintues and those were completely tech interview question.

After about an hour the results were announced and i was selected ( yaapeee ).

The Supreme Court on Thursday stayed UPA government’s decision to reserve 27% seats for OBCs in Central educational institutions, including top schools like IITs, IIMs and AIIMS.As It appears to me, one the best decision the SC has taken in recent times. Frankly the news came to me as a surprise as I thought th Govt. will do everything they can to control the SC's decision and turn it in their own way. Kudos to Justices Arijit Pasayat and L S Panta for their fearlessness.

This is what the mofo had to say after the news:

How do you see the SC interim order?
It is not a setback. It will not ultimately deter us. Our policy remains, our commitment remains. I am hopeful that ultimately the Supreme Court will be convinced about implementing reservation in admission. We have faith in the Supreme Court. We will address whatever legal and constitutional requirement is needed as well as maintain the social necessity that the law tried to address.

What legal options would you like to exercise?
I cannot spell out the options at this stage. I have not seen the interim order yet. The Constitution has been amended and the reservation Bill passed unanimously by Parliament. Admission process in central government institutions like IITs/IIMs for 2007-08 has already begun by promising reservation to OBCs.

Would the interim order put a halt to that?
Yes. The issue needs to be addressed."***

Why would education be available on the basis of caste? There may be 27% or even 99% obc, but reserving that no. of seats in IIMs and IITs will do no good to the class of people for whom it is postulated. My personal believe is that, what would a student do in IIMs without a strong basic education? If the Govt. really want to do something for the backward section of people (by backward section I mean economically backward people, not based on caste), they should build good schools in villages, give them free books, give them good teachers , provide them with opportunity to do something. Provide them free food, monthly incentives. I Even education based on livelihood and locations of the students. a son of a farmer, who will grow up and also become a farmer doesn't require the knowledge of Periodic table or complicated Mathematics, but they need the knowledge of which seed and soil to use , how to improve irrigation system, the knowledge of fertalizer.Then only we can make a equal and balanced society.

watched two movies yesterday .. " V for Vendetta" and " A Scanner Darkly" .. both nice movie . Infact I found V For Vendetta a lot better and lot more complicated then a expected ...and a lot more political too.
A scanner darkly is a crazy movie which makes you think , man ... day by day i am getting so much into independent films and music ...actually all started with indie music few months back and really got hooked to that form ..and now the indie films .. Pi,Donnie Dorko,Memento,Primer all these Indie films are great .. both movies are must watch .

First let me say that INCUBUS has done it again! WOW! i have the new album. And the sound is like nothing i've heard in ages.If you listen to their albums in the order they were released, Fungus, Enjoy, Science, Make Yourself, Morning View, ACLOTM, Light Nades, you can really hear how they have gradually progressed from an extremely funky band to hard rock, to melodic rock, to a combination of all the previous styles.Again, i must state that the Lyrics, vocals, sound, and altogether this album is full of LIGHT GRENADES that open your eyes to a moving journey of inspired and beautiful songs.

1) Quicksand - Very melodic and cosmic... In a sense it sort of reminds me of how incubus would mix radiohead and coldplay. A soothing yet haunting feeling arose while listening to this.it will definitely remind you of ' Vorer azan ' at the mosque .the tune haunt you long after the song is over.

2)A Kiss To Send Us Off - What i love most about this song is it has bits and pieces of Old incubus, Funky-Hard Rock. I LOVE THIS SONG.

3)Dig - I really like where they went with this. This is one of those songs you can really just get absorbed in and listen to on repeat for an hour. The equivelant of a soft Wish You Were Here, with the enticing guitar riffs, and varried operatic vocals this song will take you on a ride.

4)Anna Molly - If you havent heard it head over to enjoyincubus.com and check it out and watch the video. VERY similar to megalomaniac.

5)Love Hurts - Very simply beat, guitar, and melody, but introverted and beautiful lyrics make for a love balad. kinda Non Incubus many way.

6)Light Grenades - It's straight up rock with brandon's old style of singing (where he bursts out intricate inter-linear rhyming with the charisma of a One-Two -Punch, bursting the words out whether you like it or not)... Its definately the In Your Face rocker on the album.

7)Earth To Bella Pt. 1 - One of my favorite lyric songs .Around 45 seconds in this song goes from being beautifully acoustic to brutally epical.A snare builds up after a second acoustic verse that leads into a further piece of progressive wonderment. This song is fucking awesome.

8)Oil And Water - Guitar intro followed by Boyd is the intro here. This song starts quiet and brings in the bass amazingly.The last minute is some of the best Incubus I’ve heard.

9)Diamonds and Coal - The guitar riff is a upbeat, pumping feeling, which, mixed with a simply drum beat, and a repetitive, yet elaborate bass line helps carry brandon's lyrics which are in a different world from the song.

10)Rogues - The catchiness of this song is pretty much unparalleled. The guitar riff that throws us into the first verse will probably go down in history.

11)Paper Shoes - The music sounds alot like radiohead.Paper Shoes almost sounds like they want to be goign crazy with the sound and lyrics.

12)Pendulous Threads - Completely different, to anything you’ve heard by Incubus or ever? This song is as proggy as they come with a large intro that leads into Brandon exercises his vocals once again with brilliant range.

13)Earth To Bella Part 2 - It’s beautiful, intricate and not without its fair share of surprises. Leading on from the first part, the intro to this sounds like a spaceman slowly falling back to Earth.

Great Great Album . Final Verditct : 9/10 .

Back writing here after a long time .. kinda busy as well as lazy these day .Biggest news so far that I AM 21 now .. yapeee .. yesrterday was my birthday and thats why got to eat some good foods [:P] . anyway bsnl spoiled it by sending a fake and huge bill.anyway cllg day was so so today.. bunked during the tiffin time ..but the huge jam at Beleghata stopped me from coming home early ..played a few FIFA07 matches and installed Wolfenstein-Enemy Territory . Now have to find some good servers :) . yesterday dled some GRunge albums .. Pearl jam ,STP,Alice in chains etc .. STP is really nice so is Pearl jam.

have to find the pearl jam lyrics .. some songs are so haunting [:P] .. lotta movie have seen in this period .. DOR was awesome so was Lage Raho munnavai...
But did one of the most memrable things of my life by waqtching Hitchcok movies [:P] .. that was arnd a week ago .. for the first time i was watching any of his movie .. i was watching REAR WINDOW and the plot blew mind mind away .. what a thriller .. next i watched "satrngers on a Train" that was even better :D ..will try to see other movvies very soon .. and yeah from now on will try to fill up my blog more regularly :).

got the demo of fifa 07 yuester day .. have played 6 matches so far
so far..
Pros:
1. Ball physics is really good .
2. Animations are fluid and detailed.
3. Compact Gameplay . FAAAAR better than any previous fifa
4. Sound,comentry top notch
5. great camera motions.
6. fun to play
7. huge ground.
8. i call this game pro evolution fifa

cons:
1. Long kick ball physics still a bit awkward.
2. Still has a arcade feeling due to the fast movement of players.
3. Ground texture/Player Model/Net physics are bad.
4. Lacks the depth of PES5... still .
5. Stupid gamepad support.
6. Graphics are dark and dont look good .
7. Sorry fifa guys. but still i prefer WE9i.

Today i have discovered that why no one can understand me comlpetely ..Even i dont understand myself :( .I dont know what to say .. i dont know wwhat to write here .. even i dont know why i am wruiting all these here .. coz no one will read these piece of crap and noone will care even the do read ..

Its just some strange feeling happening in mY head ..My heart feels so lighter but i am not happy .

i am all confused.from childhood I knew i was different from the rest ... dont know why but i knew it .. i had a strange desire of becoming a wildlife f]photographer or a war journalist or a professional Trekker or a footballer or ... atleasst i dont want to do a sw engineers job but again thats wat im doing .. i dont know but i am not foolong my mind ..

i understand Animation and Image editing more than a lot of person .. i should have studyiong animation/sfx etc .. why am i studying IT .. sometimes I think .. I dont belong to this Time. I should have born in 60s in Us .. would have spend my life like a Bohemian .. no care for what so ever .. jus foolow a dream..

lol .. dream whats tht :P .. lost my first love .. who still comes in dreams ....

so .. what can i say .. F3ck the rules,f#ck the life .. i cant change it all and i cant go on with it .. but its like I have to ... its its like a strange flow .. u dont wanna follo but still u have to follow .. damn life sucks .. but that doesnt ,ean i hate my life ...i kinda confused...i dont know wat to write anymore ..its so .........

Had a pretty bad day at college .Had to submit some Medicle cirtificates at college and souravsir told me that he havnt seen me in the class ever .. bloody bugger cant teach a single word of JAVA and sounds like he knows all .I hate this man ..bloody drunken basterd :(.now quite sure he will PAWN me at the internal marks and made everything possible to make my life miserable.
Now feeling sleepy till 3 am yesterday ... had only 4:30 hrs of sleep .any way .. have to start my works on IBM Grat Mind Contest soon.Lotta work left and have started nothing at all .

Sinus is killing me.. could not study for 3 days and the damn mid sememster exams going on .. wtf !!!!!!! couldnt give the 1st four exams .. tomorrow is the last exam hopefully will give that...
downloaded "Fight Club" yesterday night .. the brad pitt one.. will watch it today evening.. watched "Ultraviolet" yesterday .. not a very good movie but Milla Jovovich looked damn hot :D .
